Belonging to No55 Operational training unit RAF, crashed on 21st january 1943.  While trying to land at Annan after taking part in a daytime formation flying exercise the Hurricane was diverted to Silloth because of low cloud. After failing to find Silloth it was directed back to Annan but collided with the fells north of Keswick
