Belonging to No22 Operational Training Unit RAF, crashed on 8th February 1942 after encountering cloud and losing their radio while on a cross country navigation exercise which culminated in them becomng lost.

Belonging to No55 Operational training unit RAF, crashed on 21st january 1943. While trying to land at Annan after taking part in a daytime formation flying exercise the Hurricane was diverted to Silloth because of low cloud. After failing to find Silloth it was directed back to Annan but collided with the fells north of Keswick
