Belonging to No20 Operational
Training Unit RAF, crashed on 14th August 1944 while on an evening cross
country training exercise out of RAF Lossiemouth. The cause is not known
for sure but it is speculated that the aircraft suffered an explosion on
mid air and broke up.*
