Being used as an Air Ambulance the Dominie crashed on 30th August 1946 while transporting a seriously ill patient from Abbottsinch near Glasgow to Rochester in Kent. After encountering bad weather on route to RNAS Stretton to refuel it collided with high ground.*

 Crashed on 20th November 1947 while taking part in a cross country navigation exercise from Hullavington Airfield to Hawarden and then onto Turnhouse. The Spitfire succesfully made it to Hullavington but then went missing on the second leg to Turnshouse. The high ground in Northern England was experiencing heavy snowfall at the time of the crash.*

Crashed on September 17th 1966 while flying from Millfield airfield in Northumberland to Carlisle. It flew into the head of Borrowdale Valley after entering low cloud.***
