Bristol Blenheim L1252
Original author unknown.
Crashed on 26th October 1938 while on a practice bombing raid to Carlisle with another Blenheim from their base at Upper Heyford. The two Blenheims became seperated after encountering poor weather over the Pennines and it is believed L1252 lost height and collided with high ground after icing up.*
